  • Vitamin K : A deficiency can lead to coagulopathy and bone disease.
  • Vitamin B1 : A deficiency can cause beriberi, which results in weak muscles and severe weight loss.
  • Folic acid : Also known as vitamin B9, a deficiency can impair the rapid cell division needed for the continual production of new hair.
  • Vitamin B6 : A deficiency is common among people who have had a severe deficiency of protein and calories.
